Children's Ministries
Children's Ministry at Northfield Baptist Church
Our children's ministry provides opportunities for kids to learn about God through Sunday morning activities, special events, summer programs, and children's choir. We offer safe and comfortable childcare for infants and toddlers during our Sunday service, so you can know that your child is in great hands while you worship God and learn from His Word.
Children's Church
Nursery and toddler care as well as pre-primary (pre-K & K), primary (gr. 1-3) and junior (gr. 4-6) ministries are now provided during the 10:00 service. So while you worship, your children from birth to grade 6 will be learning God's Word in ways that fit their ages. As a reminder, Juniors will meet downstairs in Room 107 across from the Pre-primary room.
ABF Hour
Childcare will be available for nursery and toddler-age children during the second hour when many ABFs are meeting. While they will be dropped off in their normal rooms for the Morning Worship hour, the children will be combined into the nursery for the second hour. Toddler parents will pick up their children from the nursery after the ABF hour.
There is also programming for the Pre-Primary class so they can stay in their room for the second hour. Kids in grades 1-6 will have a new program for the second hour (see above).
Help Wanted. Leaders Needed.
The needs for workers in Kids' Ministry are great. For a variety of reasons, we're just not ready to restart all the opportunities we'd like to offer, like Wednesday evening clubs. We just don't have the staff. Love kids and willing to learn? Want to influence the next generation for Christ. Take a look at the "Help Wanted" page.
Interested in ministering to Toddlers?
There is a great need in our Toddlers Department for both teachers and helpers. Please reach out to Angela Jaworski at 216-402-5755 or to Pastor Eric at [email protected] if you can help during the Worship Service or second hour.

Safety and Accountability
We will provide a safe environment for children to enjoy. We want children to be safe and feel safe, and parents to rest assured that their child is well cared-for while they are with us. For this reason, we will obtain an application and background check on every volunteer.
After you apply, a ministry leader will contact you about the opportunities to serve.
